About Stockholm

Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, is said to be the most beautiful city in the country. It is a magnet for tourists with its maritime bent and international flavour, being also ideally situated for trade connections.

The old town is particularly spectacular and its range of monumental buildings and tracts of water give it an ageing feel and an atmosphere quite at odds with its status as Sweden’s most contemporary and forward-looking city. Stockholm offers a choice of sights and entertainment for all tastes – from museums and fascinating architecture to theatres and restaurants.
