About Sens

Sens is an impressive town with a glorious past, many testaments of which are on display in the Museum in the shadow of the Cathedral. In addition to its archaeological collections, the museum also contains the cathedral treasure, one of the richest in France. The façade of the Thermal Baths is a great reminder of the splendour of the ancient buildings.

You can enjoy the charming atmosphere of Sens by just walking in the delightful little streets surrounding the marketplace, admiring the boulevards known as “the Promenades” and the island encircled by the water of the Yonne.
