About Salzburg

Salzburg, the town of Mozart, is divided into two by the River Salzach. On the left side of the river there is the old town and on the right, the “new town”. Standing at the centre of a prosperous, economically booming region, Salzburg also represents Austria at its most conservative.

The numerous galleries and museums as well as many of the city’s cafes are located in the area of the old town, which is a true architectural delight with its variety of styles.

Salzburg has an abundance of attractive venues. If you are planning to visit the city, make sure you have enough time to take in the unique atmosphere and the energy of it.
