Driving is on the right and overtaking on the left. When driving, you must always have the headlights on. Seatbelts are required for all passengers. the legal blood alcohol limit is 0.5‰.
If there are two white lines in the centre of the road, overtaking is illegal.
In towns and villages, it is illegal to use the horn unless you are in a dangerous situation.
If you get fined, you have to pay at a bank.
It is advisable to use guided parking facilities because of a high incidence of vehicle theft and pilfering. In the centre of the town, there are usually parking meters and you have to obtain a disc or ticket. Do not park where the curb is painted yellow. Illegally parked cars will be wheel-clamped.
