About Poland

In recent years, Poland has become one of the leading tourist destinations in Europe. It is a combination of the old and the new: there are many ancient cities and those rebuilt after World War II; there are modern buildings, shopping malls, concert halls and great restaurants. The evidence of Poland’s past can still be seen everywhere, from mediaeval castles to the structures of the Nazi concentration camps. Poland offers a lot to its visitors: seaside resorts, lakes, mountain regions, national parks and much more.

Poland is also one of the most unified countries in Eastern Europe, bound by its language, Catholicism and history. The people of the country are known for their hospitality.
