About Norway

Norway is a beautiful country and its nature is clearly the most important attraction: a dramatic mix of mountains, seas, forests and fjords. The country has tidy cities, many historic buildings and great artists and is the prime tourist destination in Scandinavia. The nature in Norway is astonishing in its variety: the rural landscapes around Oslo are nothing like the fjords on the western coast, and the countryside along the roads to Bergen is very different from the barren land around Alta or the sunny regions of the south coast.

Oslo is the capital city and a major port.
