In Macedonia, driving is on the right and overtaking on the left. The legal driving age is 18 and the use of seatbelts is obligatory for all passengers. The legal blood alcohol limit is 0.5‰.
When driving, headlights must be on from dusk until broad daylight. Foglights must be used in case of poor visibility.
Outside a resident area, you have to use the horn to indicate your intention to pass. At daytime, you should not use the horn; flash your lights instead.
You must not park in a place where your vehicle would disrupt the normal traffic or moving of pedestrians.
