Rental Restrictions
To rent a car in Israel, you must be at least 21 years old (age may vary by car category) and not older than 75 years. You must have held your license for at least 1 year. Drivers under the age of 25 may incur a young driver surcharge.
Cars rented in Israel are not allowed outside the country.
Driving Restrictions
In Israel, traffic is on the right and overtaking on the left. The minimum driving age is 18. All passengers are required to use seatbelts and children under 14 are not allowed to sit in the front. The legal blood alcohol limit is 0.5‰.
Some streets have blue and white lines on the side of the road – you have to display an appropriate ticket to be allowed to park in such a zone. There are parking meters in many cities.
Lanes of traffic moving into the same or opposite directions are separated with dotted white lines.
Fines for traffic violations can be high.

About Haifa
Haifa is the third largest city in Israel and a principal seaport in the north of the country.
