Driving Restrictions
The minimum age of a driver is 17 years. To sit in the front, children have to be at least 12 years old, unless the seat is equipped with a child restraint. Children under 12 sitting in the rear of a vehicle must be in a child seat. The use of seatbelts is compulsory for all passengers. The legal blood alcohol limit is 0.5‰.
Automatic cameras are used to catch traffic violators. The tickets will be posted to the address marked on the registration.
Driving with your parking lights only is illegal. Low beams must be used during bad weather.
You are considered parked if you leave your machine or stop for more than 3 minutes without loading or unloading cargo or passengers. No-parking zones are indicated with a white zig-zag line. Parking is forbidden within 5 metres of a pedestrian crossing or intersection and within 10 metres of a traffic or stop/yield sign if you might obstruct the view of the signal or sign.
