About Esbjerg
Esbjerg, Denmark’s youngest major city, is the country’s oil city. It has straight, wide streets, a large town square and a long pedestrian street with many speciality shops and shopping centres. The city offers beauty to the eye with its parks and lakes with wooded areas.
Esbjerg is a city that can be used as a base for exploring one of the country’s best holiday areas, a landscape of beaches, nature experiences, mediaeval towns and amusement parks. As Esbjerg is relatively new, it does not have a historic core, but there is still plenty to do and see in the city.
