About Carcassonne
Whichever direction you are coming from, you cannot miss the gigantic silhouette of
Carcassonne. Let yourself be carried into the heart of the Middle Ages and feel the magic of the city’s past glory: it is protected from the would-be invaders by 52 defensive towers arranged along a row of fortified walls.
If you go to Carcassonne, you will definitely enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding the city. You can visit the towers and be impressed by the mechanisms set up to protect the city. Do not miss any of the shows that will get you to the heart of mediaeval times either by presenting the way of life at that time or demonstrating the beautiful birds of prey trained according to mediaeval tradition.
